A Beacon of Worship and Tranquility Comes Back to Life: 65% Completion in the Reconstruction of the "Abu Ubaidah Amir bin Al-Jarrah" Mosque in Muraij Village

Step by step, the minarets of goodness are rising to echo the remembrance of Allah once again. We proudly share with you a glimpse into the construction and rehabilitation phases of the esteemed companion "Abu Ubaidah Amir bin Al-Jarrah" Mosque in the village of Muraij, located in the Akrad Mountain region of the Lattakia countryside.

By the grace of Allah, and through the dedicated efforts of our team and generous supporters, the construction progress has reached approximately 65%. This pure sanctuary is drawing closer to reopening its doors to welcome worshippers once again.

Project Background and Community Significance The village of Muraij, home to approximately 1,200 people, endured the ravages of conflict for many years due to its location directly on the front lines, which led to the displacement of its residents and severe damage to their homes. The mosque, once the vibrant spiritual heart of the village, suffered extensive destruction that rendered it out of service and reduced it to ruins.

As displaced families strive to return to their lands and rebuild their lives after losing much of their property, the urgent need to reconstruct this edifice has become paramount. The restoration of the mosque is not merely a construction project; it is a vital step toward community recovery, the revival of spiritual connections, and educational continuity. This project stands as a beacon of hope and unity, encouraging displaced families to return and settle, while nurturing future generations in faith and resilience.
